Cliff Schorr

I first picked up a camera almost 40 years ago.  Since then my passion for ‘seeing’ has become a lifetime journey with photography. It is hard to remember a time when I didn’t see the world photographically, as if through my lens.

In the purest sense, photography for me is painting, except with light. Creating images makes me visually more attentive and enables me to observe life more closely, to see the beauty and story in simple things others pass by or take for granted. 

My work mainly encompasses landscape and street photography and has been exhibited in New York and Connecticut. Reproductions are offered as archival fine prints in different sizes and finishes.
